Terms & Conditions
All Bookings are accepted and subsequent journeys carried out, subject to and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
1. PAYMENT
We expect all Fares to be settled in full on completion of said journey. We accept Cash and all major Credit/Debit Cards including AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS CLUB INTERNATIONAL, VISA, MASTERCARD, SOLO, SWITCH and DELTA CARDS. Credit/Debit Card transactions are subject to a 10% Processing Charge by our Card Services Providor.
2. ACCOUNT FACILITIES
Journeys can be charged to an authorised Account Facility, by prior arrangement with "850". All Credit Accounts are billed weekly and subject to a 10% administration charge, which can be discounted from remittances if paid in full within the agreed CREDIT TERMS of 14 days from invoice date. Individual Account facilities are available, subject to the lodging of Credit/Debit Card details and a standing authority to charge either on a per job or per Invoice basis.
3. QUOTES
All journey prices are quoted based on the information supplied at the time of booking and are subject to change if the journey completed varies from that booked.
4. PRICES
All journeys completed are charged in accordance with our standard tariff (or agreed specific journey price or modified tariff applicable). Computer generated mileages are used for the distance calculations and are set dependant upon the mean distance generated, this being 50% of the total round trip mileage from BASE to BASE. However if the passenger carrying mileage is greater than the mean journey distance, then the latter distance will apply. All journeys are subject to the charging of Waiting time, Extra Stop Charges, Drivers Out of Pocket Expenses and any other applicable charges or surcharges when incurred under these terms and conditions.
5. WAITING TIME
Waiting time is charged in 5-minute increments or part thereof. For airport transfers a grace period of 30 minutes from the reported time of arrival as supplied by the respective Airport Flight Arrival information service is allowed. All flight arrival times are monitored by "850" and drivers are despatched once the time prior to the reported time of arrival/pickup equals the drivers travelling time to the pickup location.
6. EXTRA STOP CHARGES
A charge for extra stops en-route is applied to all journeys.
7. OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES
Out of pocket expenses incurred by the driver and or company will be charged at cost.
8. CANCELLATION FEE
A cancellation fee equal to 100% the full journey price as booked will be chargeable on journeys cancelled less than 30 minutes before the despatch of a vehicle.
9. NO SHOW FEE
A no show fee equal to the journey price plus any incurred waiting time and out of pocket expenses will be charged when the passenger fails to show at the designated time and location. If you can not locate your driver telephone Customer Services immediately on +44(0)1483 850-850 to avoid a no show fee.
10. OUT OF HOURS SURCHARGE
An out of hours surcharge of 50% applies to all journeys after 23:59Hrs UK Local Time and 06:00Hrs the following morning. This surcharge will also apply to journeys prior to 23:00Hrs if not completed before 23:59Hrs.
11. HOLIDAY SURCHARGES
An additional surcharge of 100% applies to all journeys occurring on the following days. CHRISTMAS EVE after 18:00Hrs, CHRISTMAS DAY, BOXING DAY, NEW YEARS EVE after 18:00Hrs and NEW YEARS DAY. Also any other official BANK HOLIDAY deemed appropriate by "850" from time to time.
